MOROCCAN TEA CULTURE
If you travel to Morocco, you will notice very quickly that Moroccans love tea, especially mint tea, that is known as the national Moroccan drink. Even though it is usually very warm in Morocco, especially in summer (and you might be used rather to enjoy ice-cold drinks during the summertime), drinking tea is an important part of everyday life for Moroccan people. Moroccans use a special tea kettle and tiny glasses to serve the tea, and the tea is poured from very high up. I was so fascinated with the Moroccan tea culture that I bought a traditional Moroccan tea pot at the souk in Marrakech 😉
