Prague 2019

Prague is a beautiful European city and it is the capital city of the Czech Republic. I was working here in 2009/2010, and I returned in 2019 just for few days. The reason of my travel was the EMBO Young Scientists Forum (EYSF) 2019. During the meeting I shared my research findings with the scientific community in the form of a poster presentation. Additionally, I was very excited to interact with female leaders in academia, and discuss with them such topics as transition from a postdoctoral researcher position into a group leader/prinicipal investigator (PI) position. I was talking with one PI working in Czech Republic and another one working in France, I learnt a lot from them and I am very grateful that they shared their experience with me. Besides the EYSF 2019, I met with my husband in Prague. We were so happy to meet up in Prague, as currently due to work we live different countries. We were celebrating our anniversary in Prague. Overall, scientifically and privately, it was such a great time in Prague!
